Angelini Mallets were devised thanks to the interest for percussion instruments and a life spent playing in orchestra. Riccardo inherited his love for music thanks to his father, Giorgio Angelini , who was percussionist for more than 35 years with the orchestra of Santa Cecilia in Rome, and Riccardo himself is a timpanist in the band of the italian army. This great interest grew and he started to creat products of a very high artisian quality.

This all came about thanks to prof. Diego Petrera, who was a colleague of Giorgio Angelini and taught his son Riccardo at the age of 16 the principles of the making of timpani mallets that were to help him during his studies at conservatory.
